Melamoma

I have a mole that has been changing colour over past year , now half pink and half brown, having it removed Thursday for biopsy, could it be anything besides melanoma

Is nine weeks not a long wait between biopsy and wide lesion excision

Sorry to hear of your diagnosis. Melanoma in situ has an excellent prognosis so well done on getting it seen to so quickly while it is still at the in situ grade.

Got results melanoma in situ, dic said I need wide lesion excision, he said will be done in2-3 weeks .... Got appt in post for 51/2 weeks time.... This will be 9 weeks after mole excision, I feel it's very long to wait

try not to think anything into it!!could be just backed up.good luck!!!

Went back to hospital on Monday for results...after a 2hour wait was told results not back come back next week.... Is this usual

Hi there
yes got mole removed Thursday it was a full excision
will have results Monday week the 7 th
they took mole and 5 mm border around it

Sorry I have only seen this today. Have you had the biopsy and heard anything yet. Good on you for getting it seen to and removed. I wish you all the best and for good news.
