Raised edges lowered center spot

Two years ago I had this pimple-looking lump of about 3mm on the side of my nose, it had a white tip and felt like a little hard stone inside. The "stone" fell off in time, but then what's left is a tiny crater spot with raised edges and lowered center, no hitch, no bleeding, no pain, normal skin color. I have an appointment in 2 weeks which I think is a long wait without knowing what this actually is. Does the above description sound like potential skin cancer or basal, or anything dangerous? Is there a chance this is not skin cancer? What else could this be? Thank you.
