Strange Mole

Hello all...

I have always had a lot of moles on my body. It's something that people have always commented on. A few days ago, I  was watching a story about melanoma on the news. It made me start looking at my body. I do have a strange mole on my stomach that I'm concerned with. It's not exactly circular, but it is symmetrical with well-defined edges. It does have a darker shade of brown in it aside from the base color. As far as I know, I've had if for awhile and I don't think it has been changing or growing.

I also have a spot on my stomach where it looks like my skin is bleached (when the rest of my body tans...it stays white). It has a small redish pink dot in the center. Should I be concerned with this?

I've showed people and everyone said it doesn't look abnormal....and I tend to overract when it comes to my health. Is a multi-colored mole ALWAYS a sign of a cancerous mole?

I just got it extracted...he said that it was slightly worrisome, but probably benign. He shaved it off for biopsy. I just got home and looked at the place of extraction and there are three brown spots in the flesh. Should I be worried that these are tumors going downwards...or is that normal. I would think he wouldn't have missed that if he knew what he was doing.

Thank!

Definitely not. Lots of moles have more than one colour and are completely harmless.

Take care.
