Unhealing skin scab

Hi,
For the past year, I have had several, right now I have two, unhealing scabs.  I use to pick at them and they would come off, and bleed a little, and scab up again quickly, but never heal.  I haven't picked at it in half a year, and they are still there, feel like scabs but haven't healed, and I keep resisting the urge to scratch at it..  What may it be, and is there any medication for it?

Hello achar,

Sounds to me like you may have an unhealed scab. It hasn't fully healed over probably because you picked at it. SOme scabs are more sensitive than others...sounds like these are very sensitive. Next time you have a scab I think it would be best not to pick at it...esspecially untill it causes you to bleed. Ouch! That is vewry damaging to your skin. I hope you have figured out what is was so you can have the appropriate measures taken.

God Bless.
