melanoma under big toe

I had melanoma in 2006.. I noticed a black spot under my big toe, it is very tender to touch.. It is in the middle of my toe.. could this be melanoma?

It could still be an injury/blood blister but you do need to get it checked out by your dermatologist. I hope it is good news for you on Monday.

It is under the toenail..I dont ever remember hitting or hurting my toe in anyway..
The is a back spot under the toenail. It has been longer then three weeks.. It is so tender..

I have an appointment with my dermatologist Monday..

Do you know how they do biopsies on toenails?

Do you mean toenail or toe? How long has it been there? It could be due to trauma or injury as feet often get knocked. An injury would change and clear up over a few weeks. If it's been there longer than 3 weeks you should see a doctor.
