Can't sleep unless i know I can sleep in

I don't really know exactly what the problem is because i can't really find anything on it.
The problem is that I can sleep just fine on the weekends or whenever i know i'll have as much time as possible to get a good sleep. Whenever i have to wake up for school or work or anything, even if i'm tired it's hard to sleep, when i do sleep i constantly wake up to check how much time i have left to sleep and this can happen sometimes every 15 minutes. Also if i can't sleep, when i get tired if i only have about 5 or 4 hours to sleep i'll just stay up because i'd rather not even try. Any suggestions or ideas are appreciated.

Hi.

We haven't heard from you recently. How are you now ? Do you still have the sleep problems ?

You could benefit from an anti-anxiety medication. Do get back on the forum if you have some things to share.

Regards

Sounds like you have a lot of anxiety about sleeping.  Have you ever looked into a natural sleep aid?  Herbal remedies like valerian, 5htp and chamomile can not only help you get to sleep they can help fight anxiety and stress.  I personally take a product called SnoozeEase. I have been taking it for over a year now and its working great. You can check them out here if you interested.  http://www.snoozeease.com

Hi, you seem to be in stress, may be due to your studies or other activities. You need to make yourself comfortable to go to sleep in time. There can be so many reasons for not getting good sleep so try to have atleast 6-7 hours of sleep. Do morning evening walk, stretches, have nutritious diet with lot of water or other liquids, have hot shower and listen to soft music before going to bed, these can be soothing to mind and body so it may be of some help. Few sessions of massage therapy can be beneficial. Mild dose of alprax also can be tried. Keep updating of any visit to neurophysician or sleep specialist. Take care.

Hello.

Are you anxious ? Is there anything really bothering your recently ? I am asking this question because I can see that you are worried about not being able to get up on time, and thus may miss something. What is that something ?

What will happen if you fail to get up early on a weekday ? According to medical literature, a four hours sleep is enough to refresh the body systems and wake up 'feeling fresh'.

Can you share some thoughts ?

Regards
