I started thinking about it again, what is it?

When I was about three or four (17 now, going on 18), I watched a Golden Book Video and for the next two to three months I'm positive I had visual and auditory hallucinations of what I saw in the video. I'm just thinking about this now  because I was talking about me as a kid with my parents. Lol, I was a funny kid. I started thinking about what happened and searched it on the internet, but I can't find a good name/cause/treatment thing for having sleep hallucinations and paralysis at that age. Those "visions" or whatever went away quickly and I changed some stuff in my room so I wouldn't be reminded of it, like having the door closed and no curtains on the windows, which is still a thing I do. Is there anything else that could've caused this other than the video, like mentally? Also, my room is the worst insulated in the house, right next to the dining room if that would be a part of it.
Some of what I hallucinated was some guy with a hunchback (I like just heard about The Hunchback of Notre Dame for the first time in 2014), some hairy *** arms in my curtains, and like demonic rabbits in the halls. I knew these weren't real at all, but I didn't know if the big groups of bugs crawling into my parents' room were. Oh, and the sleep paralysis only happened about four times. One of those times is definitely engraved in my brain. I'm going to ask my sociology teacher tomorrow in class to see if she knows anything, but probably not.

Who knows?  Our dreams are seemingly random at times.
Other times we seem to process past trauma.  We also seem to process information we acquire during our waking hours through our dreams.  As for sleep paralysis, quite normal.  We all go through it every night during the REM dream stages of sleep.
