Sleepless Tuesday Nights

I'm unsure of which 'topic' to put this under, but I'm going to assume it's a form of insomnia.

Anyway, my boyfriend has trouble sleeping on Tuesday nights. He is able to sleep every other night of the week but when it comes to Tuesdays, no matter how tired he is or what sleeping bills he is on, he is unable to get any sleep and stays awake all night long.
This is a nuisance for him as he has work both Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Question is, is this normal and is there any way of helping him get to sleep?

The help will be greatly appreciated. ^^;

Hello and hope you are doing well.

Anxiety and work pressure could be causing his sleeplessness on particular days. He should stop becoming anxious and try to relax. He should try to have a warm bath before sleeping. Should have a glass of milk or read a book before trying to sleep. Should not watch TV or do exercise before sleeping. He should condition himself that he can relax and that he can sleep well.

He should follow good sleep hygiene measures like going to bed at the same time, waking up at the same time, avoidance of alcohol, smoking and caffeinated beverages.

Hope this helped and do keep us posted.
