Why do I wake up with water/saliva in my mouth but it doesn't drip?

I am 21 years old and I wake up each morning with too much saliva in the mouth but it doesn't drip from the mouth, each morning I have to spit before I can talk because of mouth full saliva. Please what can I do by the way my case is that saliva doesn't drip but I just have to spit it out.
