Has anyone taken Rozarem for sleep?

I have located this presecription sleep aid on the internet and it's suppose to be very safe, and is not habit forming, and also can be used for long term.  I wonder if anyone has every tried it.  And if it helped?

I take Alprozalam since 1991. I am 78. Istatered with .25 mg. Now I am taking .75 or 1 mg. I have developed drug dependance.
I am having tinnitus(Since 30 years) Hypothyrodism(contrled with 100 mg.thyrocine(since 25 yrs-gentic problem) Deafness(sined 15 yerars(genetic0 Dry Age related Macular Degerration (xine 2yrs) Catract operation- the stitches did not heal resulting in reoperation and eye permanently blurred) I have senston of tightness im my geet(sole of jeet) and sligh numbness on inlower extremities. I have no other gereatric problems like BP, Diabetes or cardiovascular disease.
I was smoker for 50 years (20 cigs for 20 yrs and an 10 cigs for30yrs.Smoke free from 3yrs.

Any of the above problem can be because of Alprozalom?
How to become from the drug dependnce?
Sensation of Tightness;Can it be because of smoking or the drug?.
I am exercise, do yoga,,meditation etc.
Dependence on the drug and feeling of tight ness of feet are main concern. Your observation will be appropriated.

Rozerem is indicated for the treatment of insomnia characterized by difficulty with sleep onset. The most frequent adverse events leading to discontinuation in patients receiving Rozerum were somnolence, dizziness, nausea, fatigue, headache etc.

It is important to note that  sleep disturbances may be the presenting manifestation of a physical and/or psychiatric disorder, medical treatment of insomnia should be initiated only after a careful evaluation by your doctor. You should also inform your doctor if you have conditions such as  liver disease, sleep apnea , breathing disorder such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), a  history of depression, mental illness, or suicidal thoughts etc.

Hence it is important to take this medication under the guidance of your doctor so that appropriate dosage and precautions can be taken.
