I fell & broke both wrists weeks after removing  plaster-casts I had severe pain in my right handcausing index and the two next fingers to stiffen and swell, the pain is chronic

Thank youfor your repy,   I have now been diagnosed with  C.R.P.S. and have just had an injection in my neck to ease the pain.  Sincerely, Flossietilly

How are you? What diagnostic tests were initially done?  If you fell after removal of plaster cast, you may need to have this checked for proper evaluation. Imaging studies will help rule out fracture or bone issues. If there is swelling, stiffness as well as pain, complete neurological examination may also be done to  rule out nerve-related problems.
