sinus infections!

i'm 23y/o i live in alaska and i've been using a cpap machine for about a year now.  in the past 2 months i've had 2 sinus infections. i have never had a sinus infection prior to this. Can this be due to my cpap machine?

Hi, when you catch sinus, try to see your doctor and get it treated and don't let it go chronic, cold and dust can precipitate it quickly. Your CPAP machine may also be a reason. Avoid very cold weather and have steam bath or frequent steams. Consult ENT specialist if nothing is working out. Take care.

Hello.

Yes, a CPAP machine, if not cleaned regularly could harbor infective agents. You have to clean the machine regularly.
