18 Days of Being Healthy

Wow ~ 18 days has just flown by! I do need to share a "freak out". I had a dream that I smoked last night. I've done this before on different quits yet knowing doesn't help my anxiety. When I woke up & shook off I went to my bathroom mirror and committed to being smoke free today. I have encountered more cravings this morning and the only part I'm nervous about is the "painful thoughts" that haunt me. Horrible headache too.

Thank you again for 18 days. Look forward to posting 19 days tomorrow :)

I miss my smoking dreams! I haven't had them for a while now. It was a guilty pleasure that I allowed myself, guilt free ; )
I'm sure, given time, the dream won't freak you out as much El : )

Congrats on your quit time, good for you!

Jade, you know you are doing good when your cravings aren't freaking you out : )

NO I've never had a smoking dream either, ya like Kathy says 'enjoy' it, lol.

I too in previous quits have found the urge to just hit out of nowhere at times and got real powerful right around this 3 week period, physiological?

another clean day♥

El, honey, hope you're feeling better by now.  I'm sorry, I was half asleep this morning and missed the "freak out" part, even though it's your first sentence.  I have never had a smoking dream - not ever - but I know that would freak me out, too!!  Especially at the beginning of a quit!

Kathyjo...and I even got my Hair Cut Today!

Stay strong, El!  You're doing great!  Horrible headache will get better and so will the anxiety.  You won't feel like this forever.  That's what I told myself every single day at first.

Big Supportive Hugs to you, El!...♥

Congrats, El!  So proud of you!  I read somewhere you said you weren't thinking in forever terms, but rather "just for today."  That's what I had to do too.  I just wasn't doing well thinking "forever" or "never another puff."  Just had to take one day at a time and so far, so good.  Isn't whyquit, great?  I used to have a meter like Kathy Jo, but when we reloaded the Windows program, I lost the meter and now hesitate to upload another and take up room on the PC, but it's very exciting to see how much many cigs not smoked, money saved, etc.

Keep up the great work, El.  One Day at a Time.

p.s. Having some cravings myself, today.  They seem to hit out of the blue.
