oops, I noticed that I said you only get Buerger's disease if you smoke. It should actually say that you only get that disease if you use any form of tobacco, as you can get it if you use snuff, other tobacco's as well, not just from smoking.
Hi, sorry to hear you are having problems. I hope you will be speaking with your doctor about what is going on with your legs to ensure you get the proper medical treatment.
As teko said above, smoking can cause circulatory/vascular problems, amongst many other issues. You asked for diesease(s) specific to smoking and one that I know is directly related to smoking, and only smoking, is called Buerger's disease - also known as thromboangiitis obliterans. I would not wish it on anyone. You can do a search on it if you want to know more, but basically, people who have it and continue to smoke, end up with amputations due to clots/gangrene, etc., and you only get that disease if you smoke.
Once again, I hope you speak with a doctor regarding your symptoms as we are not dr's here. Good luck and hope things turn out to be ok with you; it sounds like you are having quite a bit of pain in your legs, I hope a dr is able to help you with that.
The problem you have is vascular and even if smoking didnt cause it, it surely can make it much worse. Circulation is restricted and it could be something minor to something that will kill you, like blood clots. Four or five in a day would or should not cause these symptoms but I am not a doctor. My advice is to go to a doctor and get treated and find out what is causing it. Regardless if you are having those symptoms, you obviously need to stop doing what is aggravating the burning sensation. I knew a fellow once that had that problem. Come to find out he was a meth head, ended up losing both legs in order to save his life, and he to this day is doing meth still. Sad isnt it.....
