phelm in throat

I quit smoking 4 years ago, but I get a lot of phelm in my throat most every day. Is it from the lungs cleaning themselves or post nasal drip???

Post Nasal Drip.  My mom has exactly what you're describing.  It's probably worse in the morning, right?  I would see an ENT.
