i to have quit and started. there are many who have done the same. This post was put up july 23, and no one commented! My Choices come from my whole life experience. This is a new or recent personal discovery of who i am. Looking at two sets of lungs, one from a smoker and the other form a person who CHOSE TO NOT SMOKE!! Seeing these side by side helped Me stay stopped. After the 72 hour mark it is  a CHOICE! WE ARE ADULTS NOW. i am not speaking as a parent.Or Man, just a Person to Person. there are many,Millions of us who decide on not trying to get relief of some sort in such an insane way! My mind is very strong when i want to do something. Getting a relief by sucking in smoke is INSANE!! Really, think about it. A FRIEND the time to point this out. We both quit and could relate this and that. He is younger than my son. I do not read a persons profile on these forums. so i do not make a judgement of any kind. IF THAT MEANS that joanna32 is 32 earth years. 55 and still alive!! Someone somewhere said "A smart person learns from His mistakes and a Wise person learns from others mistakes" Staying stopped is my choice. when i started in the past it went hand in hand with alcohol. Putting Stuff in my body that was not meant to be there is another way i stay stopped. GOD, weather i believe in a god or not, Did not want me to show such disrespect for this gift! Values, what is important to me, are changing. My lifestyle is changing. I evolve as a person each day!  i Value my health more than ever. I once worked with disabled or 'DIFFERENTLY ABLED'  People. They were born and did not have a choice about their health. What a fool i have been inhaling SMOKE!! MAN THAT IS NUTS!!!
no SMOKE FOR 7 MONTHS!! THANK YOU FOR YOUR INSPIRATION!! i will not wish you luck it has nothing to do with smoking or not.All the best though. I have to get out side for some fresh AIR. hope this does help you though .

you are not so different than us Canucks Canadians. My Sons mother is from Armagh and father From Portadwon  The spelling may not be correct but the place on Our planet is the same. My point is people are not so different. this email and form is to give each other encouragement is it not? What goes on in my head determines how i feel. So when i think of stressful situations or the like, my body responds. I used to want a smoke (without for 7 months). This is just a suggestion, but if you are aware of what it is that you are thinking about when yu feel the want for  a smoke. YOU have to confront that thought  and feeling and Choose to do the Healthy/Right thing for  yourself. Keep it simple. Remember after 72 hours the nicotine ("Cool Nick") is out of your system. this email is from Canada. My Old man is a Proty Dog Lyme from Bolton Lanc. Not so different. Ma is was East Coast Canada. The woman down there were all after the UK Sailors i guess! married a Welshman then an Englishman! OH! BOY! Her father was from the north of your land. Have a laugh!! Hope this helps your cause! To quit and stay quit. You Can do it think about how insane it is to take in smoke for relief. hey buy a yoyo, and when you want a smoke just give it a coulpe twirls!! YOU will be the most healthy yo-yo champion in the world. IN the Guiness Book i bet!!
