Jade59 is absolutely right : ) You would be wise to listen to everything she said. As long as you are taking in nicotine, you are a smoker.
I had a good laugh when Pres. Obama said he was 95% cured. There is no such thing. 100% is cured, not 95%. 95% is a SMOKER

Hi and welcome to the forum!  I'm sorry you had such terrible injuries.  Sounds like you might be lucky to be alive.  Why not celebrate your life by giving up those smokes completely.  Smoking one or two cigs a day will just prolong your cravings forever and ever and soon you will be smoking full time again.  If your intent is to quit, why not start using one of the smoking aids offered today if you feel you can't get through the cravings.

Since you're most likely laid up, I would like to suggest a website called whyquit.com.  While your recovering, you can educate yourself on the dangers of smoking.  You are very young and quitting now will be a lot easier than 10 or 20 years from now.

To answer your question simply though; YES, one or two cigs a day will hurt you!

Good Luck! :)
