c4 c5 c6 c7 and ear problem ?

Hi everyone!

I am 22 and I have a herniated c5c6 indenting the thecal sac, along with c4c5 and c6c7 disc bulges, and straightening of cervical spine.

I think it's due to an injury I had, and worsened over time.

Symptoms are deep burning sensation in my neck between my shoulders.
One sided headaches that last whole day long on the same side (could be either right or left side).
Ears pain ringing and clicking whenever I swallow turn My head or simply by walking, they also feel always retracted (pushed inwards).

When wearing neck brace headackes go away, they are mostly due to muscle spasms,

however ear problem doesnt seem to get any better, and bothering me so much.

I am having physical therapy soon.

Does anyone with disc bulges between c4c5 c6c7, or herniated c5c6 indenting thecal sac, have the same ear problem ?!

Thank You!

Possibly. I had ear pain which they couldn't find issue until they did a scan and had similar disc issues to yourself. It's still there post surgery although the surgery was a disaster.

I forgot to add it's in my right ear only and my eardrum has retracted inwards.

I don't think your ear problem is connected to the neck problem. The nerves running down your spine don't go to your ears. The cochlea connects directly to the auditory cortex.
