My stories are more womanly' lol Hres one from my time living in Southern Ireland , I had a house on the cliffs in Dunmannus bay, near Bantry Bay ...I have always had boats , sailing boats mostly and skiffs, rowing, ones with outboards like the noisy Seagull. We would get up early drag the kids out of bed and pile in to our 18 footer Seagull and oars. There were many small island to go and visit in the bay, one day we headed for a new one to explore , on arriving I was surprised to see a few cows grazing on the island, I wondered how they got there as there were no docking facilities for a large vessel ,only little biddy boats like ours, and I knew cows don't swim that distance .Whilst we were there I spotted another 'dinghy ' coming towards the island and we were all astounded to see a cow stood up in the boat... no the cow wasn't rowing we saw a small figure oars in his hands . When he landed and helped his cow out of the boat we spoke to him .he told us he regularly did this, he rowed his cows out to the island for the rich grass there .I love the Irish ......
