time
the ticking of the clock it fills my ears ..
time my enemy escapes my grasp..
walking in circles i bury my fears ..
turning to the mirror i see at last ..
the true monster that i have become..
eyes open no longer able to hide what i see..
the realization that i liked it ,that it was fun...
a calm now resides as i see the new me..
a roar of defiance from my lips ..
turning and forming new plans in my head..
eyes closed almost as slits ..
moving with purpose this night would end with one of us dead..
