The day the UFO's came
(years ago) We used to walk our dog down the lane at a ridiculous time at night, usually any time between 11pm and 1am. One night we were walking, and saw a whole lot of white oval lights in the sky to the east, all moving slowly round a middle light.
WOW!
I ran like crazy down the lane, trying to get a better view of them. I started talking to them....."Hello, we can SEE you.....where are you FROM?....WHAT MESSAGE DO YOU HAVE FOR US?...." etc
My dog was barking at them.
I didn't feel scared, just thrilled.
I went to the nearby houses and woke all the people up! They all came outside and took a look. Someone brewed coffee for us all (out in robes and pyjamas, etc!) We watched for ages, waiting to see what would happen next.
We went home and called the police, and the local newsdesk. They were all interested. No-one could sleep. We were too excited. Around dawn, I said, "let's call the police again, see what they have to say now"
So we did. They laughed at us because there had been a laser show (one of those rave parties) miles away, and the lights had been shining up into the sky, and got somehow caught up on high cloud....and so that's what the "ufo's" were. Just laser show lights!
I felt like a complete twerp. So did my husband. It took us ages to live that one down. One good thing was people used to buy us beers because we were famous for being twerps!!

ha ha ha I know what you mean I have been a terp many times ...lol its fun though , I must think of a couple to tell ...I will call them the Twerp Stories ...
