in November 2019 My husband at 58 yrs old had a total occlusion at the internal carotid. He was actually waiting for the surgery , he had no symptoms.
The ecography showed it was too late for the surgery. One month later he had TIA, amaurosis for 10 minutes. Since then he is under medical check every 6 months. he takes cardiospirin, Fenestedil (for high pressure), statins. He exercises a lot and he is doing well. Never had any other symptoms. So my question is: how long can he live with this condition? some articles say 3-5 years since the occlusion. Thank you for your answer.
