Compression socks

Hi,
My father had a stroke 4 years ago and he has to wear compression socks at home. He has run out of them but we are finding it very hard to get more. Could we use the flight socks they sell in Boots, the compression factor is 14-17, is this too low? Thanks, Nenah.

Dear Friend,
The compression factor is a little bit on the lower side. Hence we recommend Compression socks.
However the age old dictum follows (Something is better than nothing).
Hence the "Flight Socks" can solve the purpose on a temporarily basis. However still would request you to keep searching for the prescribed one, unless your treating doctor is satisfied.
Please discuss... for further clarifications.
Regards
