Needing some help

I am new here, It has been almost 2 weeks since I went into the hospital with what seemed like a stroke. I am 28 year old and up until that day had been perfectly normal with no health issues. I was picking my kids up from school and was talking to another parent and got VERY dizzy and started leaning to the left. I had to sit down and try to get it to stop which it didn't. I finally got into the nurses office at the school and it was just getting worse and I started to feel very weird. My head got all tingly my left side started feeling weird and I stated to twitch a little and I couldn't talk all I did was stammer. They called an ambulance and in the ER they did all kinds of tests, MRI, CT with and without contrast and a ton of blood work and also a EEG because the following day I started having seizeures (sp). From what I have read it sounds like I had a TIA but the hosptial had no idea what was wrong with me so I feel like I am diagnosing myself. I have just started feeling better over the past few days the twitching is almost gone and so is the stammering. And I am walking much better and getting more strength by the day on my left side. I have a dr appt on wed with my GP I need and WANT answers as to what happened to me what should I be asking for when I go to this appt. Would it be stupid to ask for another CT scan? I just want to know what happened and if it was a stroke or a TIA or whatever I need to know so I can take the steps to make sure this doesn't happen again.

Yes they told me it was migraines or stress or a repressed childhood trama lol. I have an appt with a Neuro in June but was hoping to get some more answers but really didn't get to far with my dr yesterday. I go back for a follow up on the 24th and will see what can be done there. thanks for responding :)

hi there i would ask for every thing again as your syptoms are very much like mine and i suffered a stroke when i was 2 months pregnant and im was 24, and i was told i was suffering a migraine!! and i had to keep taking my self back to the doctors until they refered me to the hospital for checks, these days you really need to push to get answers and i wouldnt let it go untill you feel happy, as if u did suffer a mini stroke you should be on medication to prevent this in the future. i hope ur doctors appointment is a success. vicky
