Hi TJ,
I am sorry you are having such a hard time right now. I don't know anything about lupus and any of your other problems. But I did have a stroke, so I know about that. Your pins and needles and heaviness could possibly from your stroke. I don't want to say that it is, but I believe that it could be if you cannot get an answer from a doctor. I know a stroke survivor that had 4 strokes 8 years ago and she still has physical problems, like sudden pains. Just odd things that doctors ignore. Pains and aches sometimes come out of the blue and no one knows why. I wish I could help you more, but I want you to know that if everyone thinks you're nuts with phantom pain, you are not. Every stroke survivor I have talked to have the same thing. I have a bad left shoulder and a bad right ankle that never happened until after my stroke. I personally stopped asking doctors about it with no answers from them, but I found some comfort after talking to other stroke survivors. I hope that helps a little, I'm not sure ??
God Bless,
Tim
