WAS IT A MINI STROKE?

I'm a 41 year old female with HBP & Hypothyroidism. Yesterday night I was sitting in bed talking on the phone, suddenly, my eyes shut by them self, kinda fainted and leaned to my left side (syncope is how you call this?) I had a very cold sensation behind my head/neck, slight face tingling. Checked my bp it was 160/95 pulse 96 maybe because I got very anxious? This is the first time this happens to me. Should I go to the ER or just wait to see if it happens again? Please help!

Hi, your symptoms of transient tingling could be just a natural occurrence, when people tend to be in a particular position for long. But it could also be due to an entity called TIA or transient ischemic attack, which as the name indicates there is a temporary lack of blood flow to a particular part of the brain. This usually recovers, but these people are more prone for strokes. And anxiety can cause high blood pressure. So, if your symptoms persist, please have yourself evaluated. Regards.
