My mom had a stroke 4 months ago and she keeps having headaches and heaviness on the side that was paralized.  Recently gets burning(on fire) on that side as well.  She doesn't get fever or anything like just feeling like burning from that whole side.  How should I approach this to help her out.  Please advise. Greatly appreciated.

age is no constraint if patient wants to get well & is highly motivated.

Time constraint can be understood once she is totally conscious.
