medicine arfter stroke???

Hi my Mom got a "ministroke" and shes been having headache since then can she take tylenol or exedrin pill for the headache??? she was taking NORCO but now what??

The answer is "probably" yes, but this is a question best addresed by her neurologist. It is a reasonable question he should not hesitate to answer.

One of the issues is that post-stroke headaches may be (in certain situations) a diagnostic tool and a neurologist may be reluctant to mask symptoms.

Strokes can be from either a clot or a bleed and sometimes both. In addition other medications are sometimes given. These medications (if prescribed) must be taken into consideration.

Hi Francisco, is important that you ask her neurologist.  In my case, I had a big stroke as a consequence of a brain hemorrhage and still I have to take meds to privent seizures. But in her case even though it was a ministroke  you should  ask to her doctor if the headaches has to do with the struck and what can she do about it.
