AMH very low. What does that mean/now what?

I just got back my day 3 labs.

The good news is my estrogen, prolactin, blood panels are normal.

The bad news is my AMG is very low. 0.19. They said minimum they want a 1.

I go for my HSG on Friday and talk about a treatment plan on Oct 6.

But does anyone know what this means? Does it means I won't respond with IVF with my own eggs that donor is the only way?

Not devestated since I am very blessed with my son. But it does put things into perspective of sadness but also grateful that I had him 3 years ago via fertility treatments.

But still...hearing that things aren't working/you're old is really hurtful. Not sure how to take this result.

Thank you. Just got my HSG--passed with flying colors. RE said "you have a beautiful uterus. Dye spilled both--no blockages!" I needed to hear that good news. And seeing all labs are good minus the AMH well, maybe there is hope still. I'm trying to think that since they didn't test for my AMH three years ago and I have a beautiful son, maybe those numbers were low back then since they didn't know why I couldn't conceive.

Thanks for responding and caring. I needed someone to pick me up. :)

I'm sorry to hear about your test results.  Its got to be hard to hear something like that.  I looked up AMH levels and did find this.  "The final proof of the pudding is in the eating - and your response to superovulation is the best way of assessing your ovarian reserve. If you grow eggs well, then you should not worry about your "numbers" !"  Sounds to me that it means you need to see how you respond to fertility drugs; that this number doesn't necessarily rule you out from conceiving.  Hopefully they will work with you to deal with this and you find success in your efforts.  Good luck!
