TWW - Anyone else experience cramping during TWW?

I'm only 4DPO, and the last couple days I've been having cramping, and I've never had this before. Something just doesn't feel right.. Anyone else experience this? What could this possibly be?

I hear ya... my temps are coming down so I can already see AF flying on her broomstick headed my way! =) As long as we stay positive, right!

Hiya!
Well, AF came today. So, another month, another egg!  It'll be TWW time again in another two weeks.

Thanks Wendy! I like to Site-Stalk too! My cycle is pretty regular (but I've only had 5 cycles of AF since coming off the DEPO shot, 10 yrs worth.) so I don't know if my body is really back to normal yet. I'd like to think it is, but 10 years of not having a period had to have done something weird to my body.. I just hope the damage was minimal.. All I can do is wait and see...Thanks for your post! Hope you enjoyed the pancakes, that sounds good! =)

Site-stalking - HA HA HA. Well, here we all are, aren't we?!

I don't get too excited during the TWW because I'm 45 and have never had a child, nor even any sign of an early miscarriage. My hubby has fertility issues, but it's not a situation of "100% not possible", so, as we say, we leave the welcome mat out for the stork.

Cramping is weird. I still have a regular 28-day cycle, and today is day 27. For the last few mornings I've had cramping that felt like AF coming in the morning while lying on my back in bed. So bad I had to get up and take an ibuprofen in order to go back to sleep. But no AF. Who the heck knows!

But back a few years ago when we did a few cycles of IUI with donor sperm, I didn't get preoccupied much then either. The nurse would say, "the next two weeks will be really hard on you, with all the wondering", and I'd walk out of there and practically forget the whole thing. But not entirely, of course. It's just that I've rarely been surprised or downhearted when AF came, because she always does, so I simply expect her. Life goes on - my life that is, which is naturally quite a big deal for me!

Don't know why I'm going on and on ... gotta go make pancakes. Good luck with the TWW everyone!

mamamia40, I was thinking the exact same thing about our fertile years being around the wrong way!!
When we are young & fertile we are constantly looking for ways not to concieve, then when we are ready, our bodies tell us - hmmmm no, you're too old.
Wonder if a petition to Mother Nature signed by all us TTC over 40's would help lol :)

mi_amorcito ~ Guess we just wait and see!

Phoebebaby ~ you have a good point.. maybe its all psychological and I'm simply causing my body to do weird things just by thinking about it too much! It's strange, because everything is so new to me. I'm not even sure what my body is supposed to be doing because I was on DEPO for 10 years, and I  didn't have AF for those 10 years. This is the first time I've ever actually "tried" to conceive! My 16 1/2 year old daughter was not planned, and after divorce, I was a single mom for 6 years. When I met new DH (10 years ago), we just weren't at a point where we wanted kids, and only in the last year or so have we talked about it, and since I'm getting older decided it's now or never! DH is an awesome dad and my DD took his last name and has called him dad since day one, but now DH would like one (maybe two if we're lucky!) of his own.. Funny how when we're younger, we try "not" to get pregnant, and when we are older, wiser, ready and finally want to, it's so difficult...I think mother nature should change the reproductive years time line!

Hi Mamamia

My last cycle I experienced things I had NEVER experienced. You couldn't tell me that I wasn't pregnant. I cramped from 2 dpo, which got stronger as the days progressed. I had never experienced that. My breasts were aching in all the right places. My cm was all over the place. (lol). I was nauseated from time to time. Temps were great. Lower back aches. I had the works. Now let me say this, people always say we look for things to be in our tww so we have something hopeful to hold on to. I wasn't looking for anything because I was trying to accomplish some things last month and all of these symptoms were getting in my way.

The body can play some really cruel jokes on you when you are ttc. It will have you experiencing things that will have you going in circles. I am finding the right thing to do in the tww is keep busy and not think about it. AW HECK who am I fooling right? We get paralyzed in the tww with site stalking. LOL

It just sounded like the right thing to say LOL. But that's my story for last month. My temp dropped today and I'm going banana's inside. It's 13 dpo for me and I have very mild cramps coming and going and I'm scared af is on the way. I hope your cramps are something positive for you. Let me go journal my details now. Blessings your way hun''!
