november ivf?
Anyone out there doing IVF in november? It will be my first ivf and I am on the long protcol, but I would love to have companions on the journey, veterans or rookies, to help us all with support and advice.
Hon, don't give hope just yet...it not over until you get your AF! Wait until Sunday..the reason they ask you to do the blood tests is because sometimes, the hpt does not pick up on the changes in the hormone levels just yet. Stay positive and I hope it will be a big fat BFP for you!!!!

Update, egg retrival was 17/11, egg tranfer 20/11. So thats 13 days post ER and 10 days post ET. My official test day is next sunday 5/12. But I tested just now and a huge BFN, I mean a really bright test line and a perfectly white nothing after that. Just like always. It was one of the internest cheapies, but to be honest I dont think the brand makes much difference. I am pretty devasted. I know from reading this site that its not too early and their should be some sign by now. I knew it was a long shot, but after the fright about poor fertilization I had hoped that my luck would change.

I hope you are getting plenty of rest. I took the time to nurture myself and spoil myself silly - watching my favourite DVDs and dozing off on my sofa whenever I feel like it and taking long naps...the only downside was not being able to eat junk food! LOL! I would visualise that I was pregnant and it was such a wonderful feeling....

I would like to tell you that your warning/advice regarding extreme tiredness duering down reg was spot on! For any other ladies who may view this question, listen to what futuremama2010 has to say! It is 100% correct!

AF came very very late :( so no IVF for me this month...looking at December now...

I am out. Cycle canceled.
I am in- here we go! We are aiming for a retrieval Dec. 2-5 and then implantation!!! It is a bit different since I am using DE! Last BCP was yesterday- AF for a few days- then I will start building my lining! Is that TMI!!??!!!!??
I hope I will be! but it is yet to be determined!
I will be around 10 days after you :) I could do it this October but I need a longer break than a month, I think....need to be very calm and relaxed...
Wish you the best! and just take it easy...if you have any questions, feel free to ask me. The egg retrieval is painless...you won't feel a thing but do take the next 24 hrs to rest as you may be a little sore...if you have any pain, you can use a warm (not hot) water bottle. The embryo transfer takes less than 10 mins (including prep time!)....if your clinic doesn't tell you to sit down after, do that...just sit down at the clinic for around 15-20 minutes, unless they give you a bed to lie down..
Remember, no hot baths or showers after...and normal activity is fine except no aerobic exercise or heavy lifting...

Thanks Futuremama, thats just the sort of info I need. Its easy to read it in a book, but to hear from 'real' people makes it, well just more real! And practical! I will be having a down regulation scan on nov 4th and all going well it will be the week of nov 14th for ec and et.Yieks!!!
