ovulating needing some help thanks!

Ok  I have a  famillar  question  to which im learning all about now.

ovulation and how to keep track of this the long route.

4 days  ago  I got some  ovulation test strips  for nothing.  all still sealed in. b/c  the last lady who gave them to me  got  pregnant  this way.

so ok  i tried the test  that  night it was a faint line u can see it but not  dark like the control line was.

next day i took it again.  it was full blow  dark  like control  line  and im like wow. told hubby  and well we banked her in that evening lol.

3 days later

pardon me if this  gets  to be a bit to much information for  some  but im trying to learn this.

I went to  the washroom  an hour ago  and  right before me eyes  was a  big  goop  of  the  sticky stuff  and im like ehhhh???  so i tested it  again  and im still dark line.  3 days later..

my period  was on the weekend of my  birthday of  July 25th  joy joy huh  ya  haha  so anyways  from that  weekend to this date of  3 days prior today i started ovulating  accordingly to the strips.

my question is .  I thought you only have 1 day of  ovulation? and if so howcome on first day  i didnt have the big goop ball of sticky stuff  and 3 days later i do?

I hope it happens at the right time for you! Tomorrow, right? I always get EWCM a day or 2 before Oing but eveyone is different. I hope this is your month!!

Thanks hun,I just came from hospital and my follies are 13,16,and 18mm and i got a + OPK this morning,the nurse said that ovulation can be anywhere from 1 day upto a few days after the surge because the surge can last a few days.So fingers crossed SSBD xx

I've seen on several ladies' charts that EWCM can show up several days before O. But to be safe, I'd BD as soon as your fiance walks in the door! lol! So glad to hear you were able to get some good CM. I had been doing the Robitussin but might have to add grapefruit juice. :) That's great about the follies, too! Good luck! Hope this is your month! I have a question about ovulation while on clomid ladies?I have been tracking signs from my body with regards to ovulation and have only been doing this the last few months.I had 5 days on clomid this month and heard that it can dry up your CM so i took robitussin and had grapefruit juice every day.I got some stretchy CM this afternoon so i know ovulation is going to be in the next few days.I had a scan on day 10(friday 6th aug)and have 3 follies 10,11,13mm so i have another scan monday morning.My fiance is home on tuesday(thank goodness) and its day 14 of my cycle so im hoping that ovualtion waits till then.But clomid can delay ovualtion so what im wondering is after you get the CM warning how long could it actually take until you ovulate?I did a clearblue digital OPK and it showed negative so thats good.I never noticed CM before and thought that because i took robitussin and the grapefruit juice it actually worked and helped with the CM.Any halp is appreciated thanks ladies SSBD xx

turns  out hubby had  heat  rash in the worst  area  from  his fire retardant suit  ontop of his  clothing  from  working in 25 degrees  weather  doesnt  exactly  make  for a nice  evening  for us lol so we  cancelled  that  out

If it is EWCM then ovulation is imminent! Get to the BDing!

well i went washroom again  and  yes  the second time  it was  clear  and im like okkkkkk?

You only ovulate 1 day but the LH surge can last more than 1 day and that is what the test looks for, so they may show positive for more than 1 day. The CM should be clear and very stretchy like egg whites, thus the term egg white cervical mucas. I'm not sure if the sticky stuff you are seeing is EWCM. Is it clear? I switched to checking my cervix to help tell when I ovulate. The OPK test are tricky. It's hard to pin down the exact day of ovulation. If you can do it, I know it's kinda gross at first, but it is really easy once you get to know your body. There are some good sites online to help you. Just Google it.
