Im Fifteen And Depressed

Hi. My name is Savannah . My mother was diagnosed with bipolar and extreme depression when she was only 16 years old. I think that it traveled down to me. I feel like me, as a person, will never be good enough to the world. I can starve myself for a week and then have an all-out binge and make myself sick. I dont want to go to school. I dont want to get out of my bed. I just want to sleep 24/7. I have extreme mood swings. I hate everything about myself. You would think that my mom would understand what Im going through, but she doesnt. She thinks I'm making up excuses to not go to school. Thats not the case, I feel like if I go to school everyone there hates me. I dont want to feel worst than I already do. Can someone please help me.

I think u could be having depression and bulimia nervosa.
Both conditions are treatable . If you ever had manic or hypo manic episode it is better to be on a mood stabilizer like lithium and take it along with an ant depressant like Zoloft. For past history of mania antidepressant alone is not advisable
You need to talk to a psychiatrist soon

I'm sorry and yeah it sounds like a genetic thing... If your mom doesn't understand talk to a friend/teacher/doctor/whoever you care about. You are good enough. Please try to get help for your eating disorder too, I know it doesn't feel like it but it does cause life-long side effects. Please, if you can, talk to a professional, it is a medical problem and there is really helpful meds, not to mention just talking can really help. Message me anytime and I really hope things get better.
