Breasts hurts...

Hello.
I'll begin with the fact that I am fourteen years old. Like the topic says, my breasts are hurting. Well, it isn't much of pain but it's pretty sore on the sides and the 'top' of the breasts.
Both breasts are hurting, both are equally sore.

I never sleep on my front, so I don't think my breasts are sore from the pressure.
My period is due on the 26th, so it may just be hormones.
I'm terrified because many of my father's sisters had breast cancer, so it could be... but I'm really hoping it's not.

A close friend of mine said they could be sore because the skin is stretching / they are growing.
I'm a size D36. He also said that it could be the weight of the breasts...

I honestly don't know, but my mind keeps revolving around the words, "breast cancer".
I'm really scared.
I need opinions, advice and your thoughts on this...

Yes, he was right lol. They are growing rather fast and they've stopped hurting. I googled a few, and I'm positive there's no lump or anything. A friend of mine, she's a nurse at a hospital and she checked me, said my breasts were fine.
It's difficult to find good bras though. Haha.

The fact that both breasts are hurting and given your age and breast size I'd say its almost certain that your friend is right. It's a long time ago in the mists of time :-) but I remember when I was your age and had the same problem (crossing your arms was a pain as well as they always seemed to be in the way!) So I wouldnt worry too much, just make sure you have a good bra that's fitted well and that will help to support them as they grow.
