Bump on eye (not white) of child

My daughter is 17 and woke up this morning with a bump on her eyeball (not the white part). She has been having eye issues including blurred vision in one or both eyes, this causes her to have migraines. She is always saying she feels like there is something in them. Labs were ok, other than hypothyroidism which started meds for. They said she was having ocular migraines. Light bothers her eyes, and now this bump has appeared.....what is this??

Well, a bump on the eyeball can be a corneal ulcer, a Pinguecula or a Pterygium. These are bumps specific to eye and need to be check by an eye specialist.Inflammation of inner structures of eye like iritis and uveitis are other possibilities. Corneal ulcer, iritis and uveitis also increase sensitivity to light.
Hope this helps. Take care!
