Not to do with pregnancy, but can you help??

So my 13 yr old daughter started hitting puberty last year, through breast development she also started periods a couple of months ago. However today she went to the toilet and flooded her self in blood, and has a really bad stomach cramp. I put a pad on her and it is starting to slow down, but has anyone had there daughter have a period like this so early on She is 13

Had my period when I was 9, so age wouldn't be my concern. But, the amount of blood may be something to get checked.

Keep your eye on it. If the blood flow does not slow down take her to the ER. It could possibly be a rare blood clotting disorder. If it slows down it was probably just a heavy period.

I was also 11 when I started my periods and it sounds like her periods are just heavy. Maybe give her pamprin or midol to help with cramps?

my periods were always like that. Heavy bleeding lots of clots and horrible cramps. Started when I was 11. The only thing that slowed them down was being on birth control

That happen to me when I started my period until I got on birthconrol I got anemic because I'd lose so much blood. Drs said some people just have bad periods but I'd take her in to discuss with drs what you can do

It Could Be A Very Heavy Period. I Got That At 12 And Had To Get On Birth Control Because Of Endometriosis. I Would Make An Appt To Make Sure It's Normal.
