Razor burn or?

I know that girls are suposed to shave ,
and i do shave . but everytime i do i always have lil red bumps. sometimes i guess pimples.
is that because of razor burn ? and how do i help prevent it ? i heard that sometimes it's because of pressing too hard with the razor , but i'm not sure if that's a myth or not , please help because it prevents me from being comfortable around my boyfriend and letting him see down there .

hey, i saw your comment about using an epilator, which is a machine like tweezers that pulls out multiple hairs, i have tried this method, it causes more pain than waxing if thats any help lol what i do is i shave as much as i can downwards, then there is some hair that is still there, i then apply "nair" which is a hair removal cream, it advises not to use on genital areas, but if you get it off before the 6 minute mark, it works like a miracle! keep it in mind

Yeaaa i know what you mean , like i finally found that gently pulling thing , but it deffinetly does NOT gently pull the hair , it hurts alot aha . So i'm returning it , and sticking to shaving . But once again I shaved and there's still bumps , it occur's the day after or later during the day .. I would try waxing but i don't want to get it proffessionally done because that's awkward but i'm not sure if there's any at home waxing kit's.

I have no idea either way about a specific cream for shaving there. That hair is kind of feisty and may require several strokes to make completely smooth. I usually do it a few times, but not from top to bottom, in several small areas i repeat as necessary. I haven't heard of the gently pulling thing, but i am pretty unaware of most recent products other than the razors. It took me a few tries to 'master' it with few cuts and bumps, but once you get the hang of it, it will go smoothly (bad joke, i know). With the many products out there for shaving needs, it can get frustrating trying to find one that works and that you like, but you gotta try a few before you find a great one.

well thats very helpful , i heard also that when shaving down there on privates. You should only go over it twice , i tried it but it does'nt get a complete shave when i do that . I also heard that using a i forget what it's called but it's something like tweezers but it rolls over your skin and gently pulls them out , it starts with an "e" can work too , i'm hoping to go buy one today but i'm scared it's going to hurt because that is the sensitive spot . Is  there any specific shaving cream that can be used down there thats safe and storebought?

Shaving can be frustrating. Without embarrassing you, i am going to cover the general grounds of it. when shaving your legs, it's pretty straight forward. you shave up, from ankle to knee, against the direction of hair growth. Armpits can hurt when cut, but if you use something like Skintimate shaving cream (many nice scents) the irritation should be less, and don't move the direction of the razor while in the middle of it pressing on your skin, the skin under there is very sensitive. I usually shave in the shower, with a thick body soap and lather with suds, then get the razor a little wet and shave in a downward position. In the area i think you might be nervous about, forgive me if i am wrong, but that is somewhat tricky until you get the hang of it. Definitely lather up with body wash/ soap or shaving cream and be patient. In the direction of hair growth is the direction you shave. Unlike your legs, you do not want to go against that direction, as that would cause razor burn and possibly cuts and pimples from ingrown hairs. Make sure your razor is clean and not too worn out. Skin is sensitive and finding a razor that is gentle enough, but also cuts clean enough is a process. I use Venus four or three blade razors, and go slowly because when i have rushed in the past, bad things happen. The pimples you are referring to could be ingrown hairs, which hurt real bad, or they could be where your skin has been irritated, and in that case, you gotta wait it out. Also, after shaving armpits, wait a little to put deodorant on in case your skin is sore, the chemicals in deodorant can burn right after you shave.
