Recurring Staph Infection

Hey guys,
a while ago I had a couple of boils on my face, I went to the doctor and they just put me on antibiotics, saying they weren't completely sure what it was. Then after that the boils kept returned and I did some research on the internet and was pretty with it was a staph infection, then I got tested by the doctors and while they were kinda vague, was apparently a staph infection in my nose.

That was almost a year ago, though I've had several minor boils since then. Now my left nostril is swelling up and has become very painful, red & sore. My left cheek is almost going really big, not as big as when I had the major boils on it but I do have a spot on there I'm going to keep an eye on.

This thing is driving me up the wall, it's painful, hurts like hell, embarrassing & worrying...each time the doctors just give me the same old antibiotics which seems to only work temporarily.

Has anybody got any experience in permanently dealing with this? I hate it so much, I'm only 19 and I keep myself clean, am I just unlucky or?
It's also worth pointing out that my dad had cellulitis a while ago, though we never used the same bathroom, left alone towels or anything.

Actually Josh, you wrote that quite well considering you are dyslexic! :):)
The best thing you can do is to see an ENT (Ear Nose and Throat Specialist) and have him look at what is going on. All people, in fact all living things, have Staph on their body. That's one reason you need to keep your skin clean and your hands washed. Have your parents make that appointment. If the problems keep coming back you may be on the wrong antibiotic in the first place or not taking the antibiotic for a long enough period of time. Take care
