Sick

For the last month I have been feeling terrible. At first I was coughing, had headaches, sore throat, runny nose, and nausea. I went the the urgent care at my doctor's office ( my normal doctor was off ) and they said they think I have sinusitis/pharyngitis. They game me antibiotics and sent me home. After a week and a half or so I went back to MY doctor because I felt like I was only getting worse. My doctor told me to stop taking the antibiotics and gave me cough medicine because he thinks it was a virus. Well, two weeks later I still was not any better and on top of everything I now have a fever ranging from 99.4-100.3 all day long. I went back to the doctor and he thinks it is bronchitis, so he put me back on antibiotics and gave me more cough medicine. Needless to say, I am still not better and it's been a week or more since I last went. My coughing has gone down a lot, but isn't better. I have one more day of the antibiotics and I have been taking them everyday twice a day at the same time. My fever has not gone away and its been about 2 weeks, he told me not to take anything because the fever wasn't high enough. I have started to get migraines for about a week and a half, all day long almost and it keeps me up at night. Ibuprofen, Advil, Aleve, etc. does not work. I am extremely tired all the time and I just want to be better. Also, I have been having some abdominal pain, almost like cramps but they are mainly around my bottom ribs and I just found a rash on my neck. I don't know if the rash is relevant but my sterling silver necklace gave it to me, I think, and I am not allergic to anything. Can someone please help me out?

Actually they said my lungs sound perfectly normal, no fluid no nothing. The coughing has gone down tremendously. Its the fever and the headache that are bothering me so much. Today my fever is closer to the 100's rather than middle or low 99's. If it isn't better in a week or two then I will go to the hospital. I just really wish someone could give me some sort of answer that would make me better. I'm tired of being sick. And a fever for 2 weeks can't be good for me. Thank you for the suggestions. I appreciate them greatly.

Did they ever do a chest x-ray on you? I would think with coughing for that long that would be one of the first things they'd check to make sure you don't have pneumonia. If it's untreated, it can last a long, long time.
I'm not sure what's going on but I think you need to get back in there and ask for more tests until they find out for sure! Insist on an x-ray this time. Let us know how you're doing! I hope you feel better soon!

I'm not really sure what this could be, but maybe you should go to the hospital and get some tests done.
