weight

i am 14, and i have been skipping one meal every day (not intentionally). i do eat healthy foods, my parents are very watchful to what i eat i don't eat much junk foods. i try to run a bit every other day but i am not very resistant, after 5 minutes i get really tired. what can i do to lose weight healthily? and is my skipping a meal every day the reason i gain weight so easily?(my thighs went from size 3(18 inches) to 7 (23 inches) in a few months)

Please don't skip meals. The best way to lose weight is to "graze" throughout the day. Don't eat big meal portions, but have about 4 small meals. Try to skip unhealthy foods, and go for fruits instead to get the sweet fix. And do anything active, it doesn't have to be running. I don't like running myself, but enjoy swimming or taking the dog for a walk. Just something to keep you moving.  Getting friends involved is probably really good because that can help keep you motivated. Good luck.

well one thing i've learned/heard is to never skip a meal? i do it all the time but whatever i make up for it. And yes that also might be the reason b/c when you actually eat something it all goes into you fat cells which you will notice after a few days i don't rally know to tell you the truth but you will notice a difference. And one thing it might not be you, i heard that it's all about your genes. You might lose weight by exercising, counting calories, or just eating healthy. You just have to find what method works for you. Get as active when you can so you can tone your body.Maybe get a bunch of friends to go running w/you so you don't feel so alone doing this or get into a school club such as dance it really kept me in form.
