it is very normal to have this, april is right, ovulation happens once a month and can cause strange discharge which can go from creamy white and watery to clear and thick like snot, i know nasty way to describe but very true.

I'm assuming you're a girl then if you said you got your period. Your profile says male so I was a bit confused.
Anyway, the white discharge you are describing is perfectly normal, just as normal as you getting your monthly flow. The white discharge means you're ovulating. You will probably notice this once a month just like your period. It's usually in the middle of your cycle, so about 2 weeks before and/or after your period. You may also notice a bit of cramping just like a menstrual cramp. It's nothing to worry about. All this means you're a perfectly normal young lady! Just remember, that your ovulation time is your most fertile time when you have a higher chance of pregnancy once you become sexually active (which hopefully won't be for a long, long time :)
In the meantime, you can try wearing a pantyliner during this time. It's thinner than a pad so more comfortable. And welcome to womanhood! You will have many long years to get used to this. :)
