Yes.. I take two days emergency pills. but Dr.elaine told me that it's not possible that I'm pregnant because emergency pills can affect ovulation as well as period.

okay. So I'm 18yrs.old and I'm confused and worried if I'm pregnant. Last march21,2011 was supposed to be my period, and we have sex last march19,2011 and I take a medicine for preventing pregnancy march20,2010.. It's already 6days since the day when I HAVE had my menstruation and until now march26 got no period. Am I pregnant?! please help me. Yes, I know most of you will just say to consult doctor and yeah! it's true BUT I can't go to the doctor! especially that it's vacation time here :(

Hey there...

So just to (hopefully) clear up your confusion and add to the points Haz made, here are a few facts and thoughts:

Ovulation occurs PRIOR to menstruation. So I guess I would need to understand better your goal. Are you, A. Wanting to track ovulation in order to plan/avoid a pregnancy and are asking how one goes about doing that or are you B. asking how one knows when a missed period means conception (i.e. pregnancy)?

Let me know and I can better help you :)

there r ovulation prediction kits to predict ovulation but if ur period is late maybe take a HPT to rule out pregnancy first then go to the dr if not 2c why ur period is so late..sometimes u dont ovulate if u have hormonal imbalance!
Good luck!
