Do I take my birthcontrol pill?

Me and my boyfriend had made love about 2 days ago. and the condom had broke and we didn't feel it break. So now I don't know if I'm pregnant or not. I'm on Ocella (Birth Control) and I was wondering do I take the pill even though I have an irregular period?

Have you been taking the pill regularly so far? If yes, you should not get pregnant from the condom incident and should continue to take the pill. If you have not been good about taking the pill, you may have gotten pregnant from the broken condom and you can decided whether or not you want to continue to take the pill. If you are pregnant and continue to take the pill, it can possibly cause a miscarriage. And if you want to, buy a home pregnancy test and take it 2 weeks from the time the condom broke, in order for the test to be accurate. Take care.

yes! birth controll helps regulate ur period so if your periods are irregular you want to take it. you also want to take it so you will not get pregnant. but if you do want to get pregnant dont take it. but if u are not haveing a period it does not mean u are pregnant  it is probably because u are irregular. i am very irregular and have not had a period in 4 months or so. but i am not pregnant. i have went through the same thing plenty of times thinking i might of been pregnant because of no period. but i have never been pregnant. so it was because i was irregular. but just to be on the safe side go buy a preg. test :]
