I feel a little embarrassed and ashamed posting this, however im hoping for some type of ease until i can get to my primary physician in a couple days... about 20 days ago i received a surgical abortion and recently i was fingered by my boyfriend and i was wonder if he touched his penis then my vagina because my cervix is still open is there a possibility of pregnancy ? please no post of how i made a mistake or im going to hell my decision was best for my situation and also i understand that what im asking for should not have happened but it did so if you cannot offer any insight on my issue just leave nothing.. thankyou

Oh good. :) Tons and tons of doctors leave that out, for unknown reasons. I've seen a number of young girls not know and actually end up pregnant because they thought it was instant. Good luck to you and your future choices.

yes i spoke with my gyno before i got it and she explained and answered all questions i had ... but when i say no time soon i mean it.... however thank you for your input clysta it's much appreciated :)

It's also good to know if you DO decide to become sexually active soon, that NuvaRing (as with most birth controls) takes around a month of perfect use to fully be effective, so if you decide to engage in sexual activity make sure you use a condom from before penetration occurs until after you're done.

That's good ..nuva ring is a good one .. :) an I hear ya I know its scary but you are right take the time to heal an mentally get through this i am pro life because i did suffer a miscarriage but i am sympathetic of any one who has to go through what u did ...take care of your self an if u want to talk further u can message me on here ..best wishes ..

I actually picked up the NuvaRing this evening i was wondering only because after my procedure it said that my cervix would be open and i wasn't sure would it be easier to become pregnant with any type of penetration including fingers if pre *** were on them .... I'm actually not planning on being active for a while i need to heal not only physically but mentally.. Thankyou very much for your advise.

No there's no chance ..there's no way he got his finger deep enough in you to get the sperm where it needs to be ..I hope you're planning on a birth control method soon ..
