pregnancy test- do you think the result was actually a positive?

i took a 'rite aid one step pregnancy test' yesterday and the result is weird. a minus sign=not preg and a plus sign=preg...the minus is thick and dark but theres a very very thin and light blue line making it a plus sign. i forgot its best to take the test the first time you go to the bathroom in the morning when your urine is most concentrated with the hcg (i think thats what its called) hormone, and i took the test around noon, after i had gone a few times. so im wondering if maybe there wasn't enough in my urine and thats why the line wasn't thick or dark? i dont know if im pregnant or not, im trying to find out, but i cant afford to take more tests. thats why im trying to find out if its likely that it was a positive but that i should have waited to take the test early in the morning. im 2 weeks late for my period so i know i didnt take it to early (even though the box claims you can take it up to 5 days or so before a missed period). can you please help me out?

Ok thank you, ill get another test asap. Ill try another kind..it was a rite aid brand so maybe just not a great test. Online I searched to find out sensitive they are...if I was looking at the right one, its 50miu or whatever..I have no idea what its called but on the 20,25,50,100 etc scale lower being more sensitive, I'm pretty sure its 50.

It doesn't matter when in the day you take it. However, that sounds like a positive test. If both lines are there, it indicates a positive.

If you can see a plus sign, however thin the cross line is, it's a positive result.
