very confused!

I am a 22 year old healthy female and have been on a birth control pill for the past few months(4 months). The reason is due to having irregular periods. I have been having unproctected sex for the past 3 years until recently like metioned above been taking Birth control pills. I recenlty noticed that I had a period lasting about 4 days. After a day again i had unprotected sex and then got my period for another 2 days. I noticed 2 days after my last period there was a very sticky, stretchy clear discharge. This is the first time that I have noticed this.  What does this mean. I want to get pregnant but have not been able to due to being irregular.

*Also there has been times when I forget to take my pill and have taken up to 3 pill in a day to take what ws not taken days before.

The discharge sounds like the cervical mucus you get when you ovulate. Consider buying an ovulationtest kit. It sounds like you are fertile early in your cycle.

I want to get pregnant. The reason I am on birth control is because I was seeing a Gynecologist and she started me on this to regulate my cycle after 6 month form starting them she was going to get me off. My periods were actually longer and heavier before than this time. I know I'm not pregnant but I had never seen that kind of discharge, or at least for me.

Your period is most likely acting strange because you have only recently started birth control and you missed a few pills. I'm not understanding if you want to get pregnant or not? You can get pregnant with an irregular cycle, I did. But it is much harder to get pregnant on birth control. It's doubtful you got pregnant this month because you bled for so long.
