what could be the reason to the delay of my period?

hello everyone! 2 weeks ago my boyfriend roughly fingered me and for the two days after that, i started bleeding this brown discharge and when i wiped under there (once) there was bright red blood (not much). Then a week after the bleeding, I bled again, but this time there was enough brown discharge to stain my underwear (but its still pretty light) with yellowish/white mucous tinged with blood. Now for the past week, I've been awaiting the arrival of my period, and I have been getting some symptoms (such as cramping and discharge) but I still haven't gotten it yet :[. My boyfriend is quite worried, thinking that either he may have done some damage down there or has gotten me pregnant somehow (I gave him a ** but his sperm was away from my genitalia). Please note, that the bleeding the first two days was light, where I could have mistaken them as just normal discharge, but tinged brown. While the bleeding a week later was slightly heavier than the ones before. Could anyone please help me? :/ Also! my period has been regular for the past 6 months, but since vacation, I haven't been doing anything except sleep (an opposite to my normal excercise habits) so could a change in habits be the cause of my delayed period? or am i really pregnant?

Any form of rough sexual activity can cause bleeding and spotting. Implantation bleeding can vary from small amounts of blood for a day or so to maybe a pink tinged discharge. Unless you actually had sex, no you wouldn't be pregnant. For future encounters though, make sure his nails are cut low, his hands are clean (otherwise he can introduce infection) and that it's not so rough. While it won't cause anything to worry about, he can cut and scratch the inside of the vagina causing pain, swelling and/or bleeding.

when you mean "white/pale yellow" that's exactly what i mean! the only difference was that there were tints of blood in there. However I researched the entire implementation thing, and apparently their spotting last between less than a day to two days, and when it means spotting, it actually means "spot." However I know I bled a bit more than that. I'm also getting information from the internet that it was due to the rough fingering that causes it to bleed, any input on this?

thanks ! :)

Hi:-) I don't think your pregnant because you didn't have actual intercourse. The discharge that is yellowish/white is what I'm concerned about. Generally mucus should be white/pale yellow or clear and should not smell offensive. Unless your pregnant then the mucus would be a creamy light pinkish or brownish color. If it is darker yellow or green, smells bad, and / or itches - it could be a sign of thrush or yeast (candida) infection so get it checked out. Good luck!
