Chronic ringing and pressure in ears

About 1 year ago, started having tweaks of pain in base of head, back of neck.  Although I still have tightness and pain in back of neck, more chronic problem has become constant pressure in ears (mostly right ear) and ringing in ears. Maybe I had the ringing all along and was too distracted with all other discomfort.  Pressure in ears very uncomfortable.  Also, occasional aching in jaw bone in front of right ear. Some clicking in right jaw bone when massaged up and down.

Have tried exercise, massage, prescription pain relief, including muscle relaxers, anti-inflammatory, etc. Had brain stem scan, x-rays of neck and head, when initial problem began. Nothing remarkable showed up and no medication has shown any long-term benefits.   Did have lumineers put on about 1 and 1/2 years ago. Surely it's not related.  Did get some relief from anti-inflammatories, but as soon as I stop, pressure is back.

Please help.

All of your symptoms are common to a TMJ disorder called disc displacement with reduction, in other words you go off and on to the disc when you open and close.  This can create clicking and/or popping sounds in the jaw joint.  It likely not be related to your Lumineers, but it's not impossible.  Depends on if your bite was altered or not, but usually not.  Find a competent dentist well trained in treating TMJ disorders--not many dentists are very well trained.  Look for one with some credentials.  TMJDoc
