Is it normal for your head to be sensitive to touch w tmj? It hurts on the far left and far right. Both are in line w my jaws? It hurts when I wash my hair sometimes.
Yes it is normal. Basically it is swelling in the joints and pressing on your nerves.
I'm not sure if it's "normal" for TMJ, but yes, I have it too. I'm using dry shampoo in between proper washes because it hurts to have the shower water falling on my head. I have it more on my left side as that's where my pain is centered. It seems to be spreading to my right though.
