TMJ orthosis( occlusal appliance, night guard device), and/or foot orthosis may help you. Seeing a tmj specialist or podiatrist is advised.
Of course I'm not a doctor so I can't say for sure what's going on. I'm just putting this out there as a possibility and you can ask a professional about it when you get the chance...
My friend had back problems for years after a car accident. I had gone to this Airrosti provider for TMJ (jaw joint) and related migraine/pain problems. The doctor helped me a lot so I recommended him to my friend. My friend went and it helped him tremendously after 3-4 visits with the same doctor. His back pain disappeared after a couple of visits and it has been something he can maintain on his own with minimal effort months later.
They see a lot of patients with sports injuries, too. One of the things we both really liked about it is that they empower you with stretches and exercises that you can do to help yourself in the healing process and to keep yourself pain-free.
Please check out their site: http://www.airrosti.com/
The cost is about $250 a visit (without insurance) and the average person just needs 3-4 visits (which was the case for me and my friend.) I know it's not cheap but they do payment plans and can span that out so you pay them back in a year...so that comes out to $62-83 a month.
I don't know where you are but I saw Dr. Nick Askey in San Antonio, TX. They have locations in other cities and states.
I hope things start looking up for you! Hopefully this helps!
